Does anyone know which wires are which behind the radio/cassette as I want to fit my Kenwood in there but alas I have no manual for the Toyota.

HI

I EXPECT THE RADIO YOU WANT TO FIT WILL HAVE AN ISO PLUG. GO TO A CAR SHOP THAT SELL RADIO AND GET THE LEAD FOR A TOYOTA WHICH PLUGS STRAIGHT IN ITS NOT VERY EXPENSIVE.

I DON'T HAVE THE NUMBER TO HAD BUT I CAN GET IT IF YOU REQUIRE

ISO CONNECTORS/ADAPTERS AVAILABLE AT Halfords, JUST BOUGHT ONE FOR MY LUCIDA, THE ONE FOR A PREVIA WORKS PERFECTLY.

jholmes...

If you don't want to splash out on the iso-connector and you're determined to rip the Toyota connectors out of your car, I'll swap you the wiring codes/colours for the connectors (with at least 75mm (3") of cable, so I can re-fit the OEM radio set up in my '91 Previa).. :arrgg-matey:

You'll need to let me know which connector set-up you have and whether or not you're still using the Toyota Power Amp with your Kenwood head unit...

Whadyasay?

£ 15 at Halfords , please dont cut into your wires , you'll be sorry you did.

I agree don't cut em off, also if you are using the built in toyota amp you will need a unit with line outs, and it must be capable of powering the enable circuits for the power amp, which is why mine is now just ballast

Get the toyota adaptor but be aware if you do have the power amp thingie you might need to bypass this altogether, which is not a simple job.

PS don't cut off the plug!!

PPS dont cut off the plug!!!
