Sounds like it could be a faulty clutch release bearing. Not a serious problem - not worth changing by itself. I would also consider checking the front and rear engine mount rubbers. Any issues changing gear? Is the clutch pedal fully disengaging drive when pressed? Hydraulic system may also need bleeding.

Yes the peddle is coming straight up with no problems I would be delighted if it was only a release bearing as im not exactly flush with cash .will it damage anything if I keep driving it the way it is

If it is just the release bearing the car can be driven forsome time without any risk of causing additional problems. It's more of an annoyance than anything else. It will probably deteriorate over time and may eventually whine the entire time your foot depresses the pedal. Obviously the entire clutch will need replacing when funds allow but there's no need to panic.

Does clunk sound is heard everytime you depress pedal and move? I mean both from stationary and in movement? Do you feel any slight shake/ shaky feeling when moving from stationary? What about engine, when you rev it high does it tilt? (need a friend to look under the bonnet when you rev it). I don't think this is a release bearing because it has no free movement to hit anything and especially that big sound heard inside. Release bearing might wind or ratle when it is in worse condition, but i haven't heard of making clunk sound (maybe i just haven't heard of that). In my opinion might be these problems:

1.anything loose in the trunk hitting something 2.Tilting engine, meaning engine grounds are totaled and when tilted makes missalignment between engine and gearbox or something else, making clunk sound. 3. If heard every time pedal depressed, then try this in 3rd gear, revs around 1700-1800 and play with throtle full on and full off ( straight line and cornering either side too) is there any clunk sound? If yes might be one or both of driveshafts. 4. Unfortunately but Dual mass flywheel sounds like that when springs in it are totaly damaged and forces between 2 parts hit each other making this sound.
