I was driving to the garage this morning when some ****** pulled out of a junction right into the middle of the road without looking. I was already doing 30mph and had to slam my brakes on. He just sat there..... he could have gone backwards... forwards... but no.

I didn't think I was gonna be able to stop in time and started to turn to try and avoid him. Muppet !!

He just looked at me as if to say sorry..... if I had stonked me car... then he would have been sorry... Grrrrr.

"no officer... he banged his head multiple times off his steering wheel"

I don't like ABS.... I would rather "screeeeech" to a halt. ( well as long as I didn't hit him )

If I'm right in thinking Pizzaboy drives with his ABS disabled on purpose... lol

ABS is kak when youre trying to stop hitting a car directly in front of you, i know what you mean about that wierd feeling under the foot! i hate it too, in the wet and when your turning it makes all the difference of course but when in cases like this youd probably stop earlier if ABS was off!

You're saying the ABS kicked in, so how are better brakes going to help you?

If anything the ABS will kick in easier/sooner with better brakes

And it is so much better that way!

Ya I jus pulled the plug on mine. Youll only really need it in the wet but I drive like a granny in the wet anyway so it never gets used and on B roads etc its down right dangerous if cornering hard and breaking..flinging the car about using the breaks without annoying ABS is such a good laugh :)

The only problem is you get every1 lookin at your dash saying..."yea your cars pretty mint but why is yer ABS light on then eh eh?" like me car is %$(ed or something. <_<

I dont have ABS... just a raw racing machine!

It really is a good thing in the snow and ice though.... magic stuff.

ABS didn't stop us running into the back of some old bidder who stopped on a green light. we were only going 25-30mph in the damp.
