Regius Parts

Hi, I'm a new member to this club and , of course, I've joined up because I have a query! I have a '98 Hiace Regius which I bought about 6 or 7 years ago. It has been totally reliable, if a little thirsty after having a 2.5 Caravelle (average 24-28mpg compared to the Caravelle's 35-40mpg!), but the back box has rotted through and I now need new rear brake pads (changed the front ones a few years back but can't remember where I got them from!). Does anyone here have any tips on where to get these parts? I haven't had a particularly good experience of getting parts from Toyota dealers, but maybe I was just unlucky!

PS. Has anyone else had a problem of a bent adjuster bolt when tensioning the fan belt to stop the squealing when the air-con is used?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Paul.

Think Wellhouse Leisure (www.wellhouseleisure.com) have handled imports of the Regius in the past - could be worth a try for information on parts, etc.

Thanks for the advice, have a quote through 1stchoice.co.uk from Dewsburyautosalvage.com for a new rear box, £102 including delivery. Not too bad I thought. Still waiting for a quote for rear brake pads though.

Checked out Wellhouse but they only post stuff if it's a minimum £150 order, might try and phone them though.

There is also a small Toyota Hiace Regius owners club - try doing a google search - who may be able to help
