Rav4 Radio Experience

Hey all,

I just purchased a used Rav4 (2002,d-4d gx), I absolutely love the thing so far (especially the rear removable seats, still amazed by that!), I was having an issue with intermittent radio/CD player functionality, basically the signal would cut in and out and the CD player swallowed a cd giving me a cd err 3 message. I was considering swapping out the system for an aftermarket one, but thought I'd take it apart myself to see if there was anything glaringly obvious. After removing the radio (5mm Allan key and 10mm socket wrench required) I found the problem to be a loose connection with one of the wires at the back of the unit. Imagine my joy when the CD player burst to life and started playing Sinatra halfway through the fix!!! So this post is for people that may have experienced a similar thing!
