Adding Xt-R Chrome Pack

I am thinking of buying an old XT-R 3 dr and like the look of the chrome pack.

Can this be added/installed on an old car which hasn't got one so that it looks like the original rather than an "alteration"?

There were 3 door Rav4.1 pre 2000 and 4.2 versions post 2000 - there wasn't an XT-R in either range and the model designations of the 4.2 changed as the car was facelifted ending with XT3, 4 and 5 versions. Not sure what you mean by a chrome pack but there is a fairly limited range of aftermarket exterior chrome enhancements available for these cars.

Hello Sally,

Just to give you the correct information and as you've said they do make a RAV4 XT-R, this was the last of the 3 door shape made around 2004-2005, Toyota put extra equipment on the last run of the model, climte control air/con, sunroof,cruise control and few had the front rubber nudge bar, there are a few on Auto Trader at the moment.

The chrome pack was a dealer option and had chrome trim around the rear light cluster and side and rear chrome bars. you should be still able to buy them from Toyota but they will be a fair price.

Here is my lovely 2005 XT-R which is currently for sale not chrome pack but it has side bars, sunroof, cruise control, leather interior etc
