Toyota Iq St. Wheel Radio Buttons

Goodmorning people, i recently upgraded from my 2009 IQ to a 2012 IQ. The radio installed on the new one was a Japanese radio which i changed to a new one. my question is the following. I was told that in order to use the buttons on the st. wheel i need to get a " Steering wheel control" and install it. Does anyone know anything about this? And if you do please advise where i can buy one. Thank you in advance

As far as i was aware iQ1,2,3 all came with steering while navigation controls

Agh sorry did not read your post properly. There should be a covertion cable from A toyota st control to your radio. It should just be a lead not a box of electronics. Can you take a picture of the radio in your car
