I just bought my first Toyota -- the iQ 1.3 (2010). After owning a Mazda3 for five years, recently written off by having a tractor reverse into it in a farm carpark, I had to go Japanese again! Very pleased with iQ, but it came without a spare keyfob (2-button remote control with slide-in keyshaft). I daren't ask a Toyota dealer the cost of a spare remote, so do you guys have any suggestions?post-140605-0-93851900-1399657420_thumb.

Thanks. Loved the Mazda and I was gutted when the farmer's insurance company wrote it off, but when unwanted events intrude in life it's best to take a step back and ask what opportunities this presents. I was getting a little concerned about the escalating price of fuel and the cost of VED for the Mazda (2.0 TS2). I looked briefly at hybrids until it became clear that Battery leasing is so expensive (that on top of the costliness of the vehicle). The iQ seems just perfect, and it's such fun to drive. Still getting the hang of this stop/start technology though -- I keep thinking it's stalled and wanting to turn the non-existent ignition key.
