Difficulties Involved In Retro Fitting Cruise Control To A 2006 Rav Xt

hi, I'm a new member,joined in march.I am wondering what the difficulties would be in retro fitting cruise control to my 2006 rav xt4?

It's not too difficult because the XT4 is pre-wired for cruise control - it's just a case of fitting the clutch switch and the operating stalk. The bit that needs a bit of patience to get it right is making a hole in the steering wheel cowl to accept the stalk. As well as the switch and stalk - you'll need 2 M4 screws around 10mm long to secure the stalk. Fitting the system and the part numbers are covered elsewhere on this forum.

The stalks used to appear regularly on eBay for around £25 but I haven't seen any lately.
