Toyota 2.2 D-Cat 2008

Hey guys,

After 6 years cost free driving a 2004 2.0 d4d with 295.000km it was time to part with this sweet car

and in return I have bought a Avensis 2.2 D-Cat with admitting year 03-2008. and 125.000km on the clock

Now aim aware of the problems these engines have Egr DPF 5th injector ect..

My question here is that as i got a later engine 03-2008 if there are modifications done when it rolled out of the factory

Also how can u tell the exact date it rolled out of the factory?(in the netherlands addmiting year is when it was first regestered)

iam considering the removal of the egr and dpf (fysicly and softwarly) along with a chiptune.

Here it cost 500 euro to do al 3 in 1 go.

Anyone got experience with it?

Don't think you'll find many in the UK who've done this as it's illegal here. They don't like us tampering with the emissions equipment
