hi i have just bought a rav4 x reg 2lite vvt, is this engine chain driven, or cam belt, second when i bought the rav the engine managment light was not on at all when igniton was turned on,the car ran a little lumpy so i took to the garage how then told me that three of the lamba sensors were knackered, this cost me £450 to rectivie, the garage told me that the engine managent light has been turned off,(i was conned), how do i put it back on, was a fuse removed to turn it off many thanks, please help

Chain driven. Lambda failure is quite common on this engine but replacing 3 units can be done for much less than £450 using good quality direct replacement Lambdas. Unfortunately theres loads of ways that people find to disable the warning light. Most common is removing / damaging the bulb /LED, followed by cutting a wire - it's sometimes very difficult to trace what's been done.
