Spare Wheel

Hi

I have an Auris Sport (Nov 2012) with 17” Alloy wheels. I need a spare wheel, as it currently has an inflation kit and was planning on buying a 16” steel wheel and fitting a standard tyre, this will give pretty much the same overall wheel/tyre profile, and will only be used in an emergency

I have been around the local scrap yards and can find nothing suitable, but I noticed the following:

I can only find details of offsets and bore’s etc for 16” wheels, so can anyone confirm if this would have the same bolt pattern etc and fit my car ?

Go to an independent tyre garage, they can give you more info on it.

your local Toyota dealer should be able to sell you a spacesaver if you are happy with that.

It should be £120 or less.

This wheel is too big for spare wheel room; you can try a 15" steel rim, that is 6" wide, equipped with a 185/65 tire. Even so, you have to remove all the felt pads under the trunk carpet.
