Clutch Problem

Well, over the past week or so when the clutch is depressed fully it makes a *tick* sound. I dont know what it is and if it has been happening before and we havent relised until now. It only happens when the clutch is fully pushed back and it hits something making this *tick* sound. Is this normal? Or is there a fault somewhere. So far there are no problems associated with it and the car is picking up like normal so the clutch isent slipping. Is this a sign the clutch is about to start slipping? Could anyone push their clutch fully back and tell me if they get the same sound, like its hitting something.

Thanks, its a Auris 2011 1.3

You should get the click sound, its a microswitch to allow you to start the car.

! thing to try is get in the car attempt to start it with the clutch up and slowly press it down as it clicks the car will fire up

Its when ever you push the clutch, not only when you start. It happens occasionally, for example out of 4 pushes of the clutch, at least 1 time it will make that sound. Im going to get it checked out by Toyota anyway just to be on the safe side within the next couple of weeks.
