Hello all this is my first post,

I have a dilemma, both of my remote central locking keyfobs have flat batteries.

Currently im using just the key itself which does not arm the alarm it just locks the car.

I have aquired a replacement Battery but am reluctant to replace it as i have heard it will not work and will need re-coded by a toyota dealer, which would mean lots of dosh! :crybaby:

have any of u had this issue before? If so any advice would be greatly appreciated

ONLY alloys MADE FOR A CELICA WILL FIT A CELICA - SO DONT JUST BUY ANY ,MINE IS A 1995 GT AND 17" GO STRAIGHT ON. TYRE SIZES ARE 225-45-17,,,,DOES THE ALARM SIREN HAVE A KEYHOLE ON IT , AS MINE DOES AND CAN BE TURNED ON AND OFF USING A KEY .

I have bought 17" fox evo 3 205/40 alloys from Halfords yesterday due to a 40% sale. they are on order now as i have to wait up to a month for the silver coloured ones.

Hopefully these will fit, if anyone knows different please let me know so i can cancel the order.

My siren has a keyhole on it but only under the bonnet which can only be accessed after getting into the car.

look on the siren , at the key , it says on and off , if its off alarm wont operate , is what i was saying lol. Halfords should have asked what car the wheels were going on.because tyres have to be sized to keep speedometer correct and not to rub inner arches
