Avensis 52 Issues

Hi,

I had 1/4 tank left and in the middle display it showed that I could drive over 300 miles, so it's got itself rather confused!

Is there a way of resetting the centre console display yourself, or is it a Toyota only job?

I have not tried it yet, but does disconnecting the Battery only reset the ECU? (I think so but thought I'd ask).

I don't think the float switch in the tank is the issue but never say never.

Thoughts anyone?

that's what I would do first. you will have to set the time again and your mpg will of been reset.
