Aygo Bluetooth Not Connecting

Hi all,

I have an Aygo Blue 09

I have successsfully paired my phone to the car's bluetooth.

But it does not connect.

I have tried connecting manually with no luck.

Phone's visibility is set to: shown to all.

Also, the car's bluetooth does not flash.

Assuming that the car's bluetooth is faulty is there any way I can get it fixed or replaced.

Presume you have the Tom Tom Toyota Aygo Connect system. Is your phone listed as compatible - http://www.tomtom.com/phones/compatibility/devices.php?TT=16a0beb2-baba37bd-16a0beb0-baba37bd-00000002-c84he9vj8h1a33c87r6djq2543&deviceId=41

I have ther standard bluetooth kit that comes with the Aygo Blue, not Tom Tom.

I don't think compatibility is an issue as it pairs the device, but does not connect.

I had issues with this, but then I worked out I had to get my phone to connect by pressing on the device name shown in the bluetooth menu. Not that I use it much now, but I worked it out!

Yep,

I tried letting it connect automatically and selecting TOYOTA from the phone menu.

It definetely paired, but it doesn't connect.

All the menu's work - but there's no flashing blue light when I start up the car and it searches for devices.

I'm pretty sure its packed up.

Can I get a replacement - I don't want to replace the whole stero unit just for bluetooth.

What phone and operating system are you running.

I had this issue when I upgraded my phone I had to remove all the old phones and start again.

Fortunately it them worked perfectly. ;)

I have a plug in tom tom with bluetooth in my car which has never had issues once I discovered the right settings on the phone. Do you have the tom tom unit?
