Whilst attempting to put air in a tyre I smelt one of those electrical smells when you know something ain't right, the air compressor plug had melted in the socket and obviously turned of the compressor off, I have checked all the fuses and some how all the fuses are fine but I've also lost all volume from the audio system, everything else works fine, any ideas?

Er, remove the fuse "protecting" the Aux power outlet and leave it out until the problem is identified and fixed! If there is a short in the wiring, then it could cause a fire.

If I recall, the Aux power and Aux-in audio are both inside the storage under the arm-rest, I'm guessing that either the insulation on the wiring has burnt off, or a wire has come loose, or maybe the aux-in audio socket has warped from the heat from the power socket.

Buy a foot operated tyre pump
