In the UK, the service intervals are every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Intermediate services are carried out at 1 year/10,000 miles, 3 years/30,000 miles, etc. Full services are carried out at 2 years/20,000 miles, 4 years/40,000 miles, etc. Additionally brake fluid should be changed every two years, air filter at 40,000 miles, spark plugs at 60,000 miles, etc. You can see what is covered in the servicing regime by clicking on the 'Compare Servicing Info' button on the following page: http://www.toyota.co.uk/service-and-maintenance/car-servicing

Obviously these are the service requirements in the UK. Service requirements may differ in other countries due to climatic differences, etc.

As far as I'm aware there is no servicing requirement for the SRS system. However, if there is an airbag warning light illuminated on the dashboard, the fault should be investigated.

And it doesn't cost that much to go via a main dealer AND many will price match (within reason) if you're on a budget. That way you get an even better price and a Toyota stamp in your service book.

Does the 1.0 manual require the more expensive 0w20 oil?
