2008 (57 Plate) Rav4 Xt3 Front Wiper Motor Bushes

Hi all

is it possible to purchase bushes for the front wiper motor? my wipers went bad a few months ago, I got a replacement motor from a scrap yard and fitted it in - this week its gone again (the only way they work is on full pelt with the + voltage) - I stripped the motor down and the bushes are nr worn out. (I really regret throwing the old one out now)

So rather than replace the whole motor again I was curious if anyone had any experience of reconditioning them, and if so where I can purchase a set of bushes from as it looks straight forward enough.

Unfortunately only the complete motor+ gearbox is available new or service exchange. The motor is very common and used for electric windows etc. You can make brushes for these motors - just get hold of any large carbon brush (starter motor). You can cut it with a junior hacksaw and file to shape.
