why does it all go wrong at the one time.

my front off side wheel is ratting very noisily at slow speeds.

the car still steers ok, is fine at normal speeds,

but when slow this rattle, its a metallicy clanking, is blatently heard!

wondering clutch? brakes related?. bearing?

going to get the wheel off at the weekend. but any fore warnings are appreciated.

the split in the brake disc some times gets small stone chippings stuck in them which rattle like hell when at slow speeds. jack up car and remove wheel turn brake disc by hand and check the slots in disc. happens to me all the time.
