Automatic Switch For Front And Rear Cameras

Hello,

I would like to share with you my latest gadget;

It is an automatic module to pilot front and rear cameras.

by switching both video signals and power supply of the cams, and to control the GPS switch between map and external video.

When you start the engine, the front cam is automatically displayed for 8 seconds on the GPS screen (or on a small monitor for those who have no GPS), then switched off. This featureallows to check there is nothing hidden in front of the car...

At any moment, it can be displayed again (on/off) by pressing a small button.

When parking the car, the system becomes very clever:

the rear and front cams are alternatively displayed according to the position of the shift knob, thanks to the timer on the front cam.

I am glad, especially for the apparent quality of the gadget (for example, metal box!), and its low price (cost with freight: £13) !

Could do it with a relay and 555 timer

I first tried to use electronic timers based on 555 (I bought several for few euros in China) and relays.

But when I found my gadget that includes everything for 13 pounds on AliExpress, I did not hesitate anymore,

Now I think about recycling my timers with your windows module...
