Hi all,

Going to give the egr valve a routine clean this weekend and have thought about removing the egr manifold also to give it a clean... Does anyone have any info or diagrams (Tsb? ) for removing this? Any tips?

Thanks in advance

Tom

I may be wrong but I suspect it is the intake manifold you are considering, the EGR valve sits on top of the intake manifold which can become quite badly clogged with carbon/soot, the exhaust manifold is over on the back of the engine and is a complete nightmare to remove involving removal of the turbo charger from above and the DPNR from below this is a 9+ hour job in a workshop, god knows how long it would take on the side of the road/driveway.
