New Yaris Hybrid Trend

Hi

I've been offered the following deal for a new Yaris Hybrid Trend with metallic paint, Touch & Go, Style Pack and Protection Pack with a tank of fuel:

OTR - £17,100

I would get this on a PCP with 0% interest free. Deposit of £2,500. Final payment of £5,985 (which is the guaranteed future value) and then £210 a month for 41 months.

Any thoughts on this price?

By the way, reading through this forum has convinced me to make the move from my current Mini One. I do all stop start driving in town so hoping to get my fuel costs down! Interesting information on here and very excited about the prospect of a new car!

Thanks

Beaker

List price is £17595 Touch & Go, Style and Protection packs add £1650 to the price - but shortly it will be the old model. If you're OK with this, fine.

The facelifted Yaris is due to be launched fairly soon - see http://blog.toyota.co.uk/2014-toyota-yaris-in-detail#.U4pAsfCwVjg

Thanks for the info. I didn't know Toyota had released some more details. I was tempted to wait, but my car tax and car park permit are both running out and as I won't pay either with a hybrid I think the time has come. Managed to negotiate with another dealer and got the GAP insurance thrown in as well.

I'm looking forward to picking up my new car in a couple of weeks!

Thanks

I think you've had a great deal there! I saw some people on here oohing and aah-ing about the facelift, but I can't see a bit of difference beyond some different wheels and a slight change to the air vents. The only benefit I can see is the tyre pressure monitoring, which I suspect is the cheap ABS-linked type which can be replaced in most scenarios by the highly scientific and complicated "My wheel is going thud-thud-thud and I'm not going in a straight line" test.

Enjoy!

Unfortunately that test requires a) the use of additional driver's brain cells, and b ) driver to stop vehicle, get out, and confirm visually that he/she should not just carry on regardless.

I've had a small puncture, can you do anything with it?

Thanks for the response. I thought it was a good deal but is always good to have an independent opinion. I think the dealer always says he is offering a cracking deal!

I do have tyre pressure monitoring on the mini. It works well as the tyre had only lost a small amount but it helped me discover a nail causing a slow puncture. Doesn't sound as if the Toyota version is quite as good!

I will post some photos when I pick the car up.
