Tns-300 In Kilometres Only

Hi all,

I got a second hand Avensis T250 2l petrol VVTi 54 plate estate in Jan this year. Great car & love driving it despite the problems I have had with the o2 sensors (hopefully finally sorted now!) & recently needing a new starter motor & Battery. Since disconnecting & replacing the Battery my sat nav (TNS300) will only display KM, this is driving me mad! I have reset it, taken the disc out & back in, gone back through the menus & changed the language back to English with miles & it still only works in KM. It used to work fine in miles until the Battery was replaced. I have even selected KM as the choice to see if they were somehow reversed but no joy. Does anybody have any ideas what might be going on?

I have only just joined to post this but found some fantastic answers on here to other problems such as OBD codes etc. I don't enjoy working on cars, just driving them so to have a community out there that can help is very gratifying. I am however on the other hand good with computers!

Thanks but no, have already tried that. Selected English / Miles & it reverts to KM! I even tried selecting KM to see if somehow it had gotten reversed but still no joy. It's not something that is overly important but being UK based & everything in miles it is very annoying!
