Hi. I Am New.

New to the forum, but also new to Toyota cars.

I changed the wifes car early April from a 56 Citroen C1 petrol to a 58 Toyota Yaris 1.4D with 65k miles.

I liked it so much that I bought myself one and picked it up on June 1st. A 59 Yaris 1.4D with 44k miles. I traded in my Vauxhall Vectra SRi tdi estate car. I retired myself (self employed) on May 31st and wanted to down size.

Impressed with the build and performance of the Yaris diesel. Picked up my car on June 1st and drove straight down from the dealer in Sheffield to Tonbridge Wells, Kent for a weeks holiday, got back home to Chester, Cheshire on 7th June having done 750 miles.

Very pleased so far.

Hello Paul. I see you have an Auris. I did test drive a 2 litre diesel Auris on the Friday before I bought the Yaris on the Sunday. I also had another Auris test drive set up. The Auris was very good and I knew it would be economical, but when I got home, turned the corner and saw the wifes car I said "all I need is a Yaris". That was it, I cancelled the test drive in the next Auris and went in earnest for the Yaris in Sheffield.
