4.2 Rear Diff Mounting. Easy Diy Job?

The old 4.2 has passed its MOT today but the tester noticed that the rear diff mount is giving way. Can I just support the diff, whip the old one off and bung a new one on or is there something more complex involved?

Hi Andy, looking at the exploded view of the rear diff carrier it seems a straight forward bolt off bolt on jobbie.

Torque settings are, N-m ( kgf-cm and ft lbf )

2 bolts to diff 137 (1,400, 101)

2 bolts to chassis 65 (660, 48)

Hope this is of help
