Where Do I Get These Parts?

Hi,

I not long ago took my Yaris 2002 in for its MOT, and passed first time. However, I have two advisories, and i am not sure where i can buy the replacement parts online.

They read as follows:

1) Nearside outer front Anti - roll bar ball joint dust cover deteriorated, but preventing the ingress of dirt.

2) Offside outer front Anti - roll bar ball joint dust cover deteriorated, but preventing the ingress of dirt.

What the heck is an "Anti-roll bar ball joint dust cover"?

Do they mean the CV joint boot, or maybe the ARB drop-links?

If they mean the drop-links, it's a common issue on Yarisusesases but you can probably ignore it as the exterior of the standard toyota ARB drop-links deteriorate very quickly, but still do their job just fine; You'll know when you need to change them because you get a clonking sound going over bumps.

A few people here had that advisory for their Yaris, let them change it, and 1-2 years later had the same advisory; I had the advisory 3-years running then got bored of it and found some polyurethane ones instead (They are much more robust and despite lots of abuse show now sign of degradation at all!)
