Hi folks

I've got a rush job to try and get done on the OHs car - I want to replace the pollen filter prior to our trip to france later this week. Completely slipped my mind until today so I only have tomorrow to do it now provided I can get one delivered.

Can someone tell me where it is please?

I've searched the forum and and found the location on older models to be behind the glovebox but no info for this one. :)

All help really appreciated!

Probably be in the same place. Could try sending Parts King a personal message for a replacement (quote your model details and what you want) - but you will need to check they can deliver when you want it. Otherwise try your local Toyota dealer.

Thanks for the quick reply - I expect it probably is but before I try and do it I'd like to get as much info as possible. I can try and take the glovebox out tonight to check. Any advice on how its removed ?

I can get the filter from Euro CP tomorrow but that doesn't leave much time.

. Had a look tonight and its a 2 minute job. Fingers crossed the pollen filter and air con sanitiser sprays turns up tomorrow and that combined they make at least some difference to the stale smoke smell in the car.

Thanks again for the replies, much appreciated :-)

For anyone else wanting to do this:

1. Open glove box

2. remove connection to damper (thing that smoothes the opening/closing!) on left hand side near bottom

3. squeeze in both sides near the top

4. pull towards you and it should simply lift out

Refitting is the reverse. One thing to note is that the damper needs to be extended out to allow it to be re-connected - just pull on the connecting bit and it will extend. This slowed me down for a couple of minutes until I twigged what it was :)

Hope that helps someone else
