Rattle On Exhaust

hello people

a problem with the car at last that will teach me to buy a toyota eh!

Ok when i rev hard which is just about everytime i get in it

There is a rattle sounds like tin ware rattling, got my mate to rev it whilst i had bonnet up but it dont rattle unless moving. Is there an heat deflector around the manifold if the car has one i remembver that from my younger years if so how do i check it for corosion?

Its not serious but by god it anoying and embarassing

yup they all suffer from rust it was the same in on my prelude, just take the begger off :ffs:

well that dont sound easy is manifold at back of engine

i know that sounds thick cos i know it is but need to check before i get ovies on

Had the exact same problem on my metro ages ago. it turned out to be the heat sheild in the middle of the of car slightly touching the exhaust. Obviously it would get worse when moving cos of vibration.
