Yaris 2005 1Sz-Fe Engine 4 Valve Needs Replacing

My beloved car's timing chain has broken and I've been told I need a replacement engine or have it refurbished. My 1lt engine 1SZ-FE can it be replaced with the 1.3lt version 2SZ-FE or will another make also fit my car? It will need to be a full engine as the crank shaft pulley rubber went making the car noisy which is why I didn't notice the problem with the timing chain, it went just before going into the garage that morning for the replacement pulley. If any one can offer any help as to what engine replacement and where to go or who to avoid I would be most grateful as I am one unhappy lady at the moment and desperately need my car on the road.

Replace like with like: a post 2003 engine up to 2005 should be indentical:

You don't want a lot of hassle changing engine sizes or a Japanese built one for a French one..
