Iphone 5S Connected But Won't Play Music

Upgraded phone in November and all was well until about 2 weeks ago when it stopped playing on my Aygo's stereo. Phone doing what it's supposed to do and LED shows my iPhone attached and scrolls round, forward and reverse makes tracks move on or back. Just no sound.

I have disconnected, reconnected. At a loss, manual has no info at all.

Any advice from anyone would be great as bit gutted that I now can't have my playlists on in the car.

I would try a reset first.

This won't erase anything and doesn't take long at all.
