I spent a while searching how to retro fit cruise control to my Corolla (see title) and eventually decided it was doable and jumped the gun and went off and bought this secondhand on eBay....

I took the airbag off yesterday (just the spring to be pressed up, not two torx screws that I have seen everywhere else) and found this....

As you can see the cc stalk does not fit on the wheel.

Can anyone help and tell me if cc can be added to this model using this wheel?

If the cable fits and it activates and works then it can be fitted however mounting will take some careful drilling

If the cable fits

It doesn't.

So back to my original question...

Can anyone help and tell me if cc can be added to this model using this wheel?

This stalk is not compatible with your ECM module, it's not programmed for CC, even it hasn't got a pin for CC. The only solution for retrofitting a CC is an aftermarket kit with actuator.

Ok, thank you very much for that advice. Can you recommend an aftermarket kit?
