Just Got My Diamond Front Corners...

Ok.. just got my diamond fron t corners through the door.

I have a question tho, they only have one bulb in them ( an orange one ). No space for others. I thought the sidelights were also in the corners ??

If I go diamond corners do I lose the sidelights ?

There is a "fake" hole filled in where the sidelight should go.

how the hell am I gonna modify it ??

I got some of these corners a few months back...

There are some basic, and a little incomplete, instructions on the IMOC website i think.... They dont tell you everything but they do give the basic idea.

Nah... my car is totally debadged and gonna keep it that way. Although the rear centre panel looks kinda naked now with no reverse lights and no lock barrel showing.

Jim, you have to drill out the holes yourself and file the bits out to make the lights fit. BUT before you do it, make sure that the side light units snap together (as if it was fitted in your car) mine dont completely and so i will be needing to buy the original toyota 'white/clear' ones from fennsport now - doh!

You mean connect the untis together, both halfs to make sure they stay together ? If you do, then yeah they're fine.

yeah, I will be mate. One side has a snapped clip, but it doesn't affect it as they have stayed on my car fine for ages now !

yeah it does mate.. its one of the clips on the smaller part. I've had no problems on my car. I bought it like that from someone. Even if you did have any issues, surely you could get the smaller part required from a scrappy/toyota ?

I will be selling them cheap anyway... so if you do have probs it won't be that bad to get the smaller part. But I'm saying you won't need too.... just covering my ***** here.... lol

Thats what I did. You lose the side lights but hey...what the heck!!!

Even got the MOT done 2 weeks ago without any probs!

hate too sya it but rev6 rears uck..

lights should be lights no chrome rings etc, trying to look corvette but **** it up.
