Avensis 2.2 Diesel Problem

Hi I'm a new member to this forum, I have encountered a problem with my avensis, this is the first time it's faulted in the 8 years I've owned it. The engine has lost power at low revs i.e it won't pull at revs below 1600 rpm. I have had a diagnostic check done on it and all sensors etc. are working ok. Has anyone else encountered this fault,all suggestions greatly received.

Could be EGR valve is clogged

Open the EGR lid and inspect content -- if it is sooty then have it cleaned reaching all gas holes clear.
are turbo vanes flexible ? At the same time clean MAF sensor, as well.
