I occasionally get these as well.

I'm not sure but it's my theory that people are spoofing my email address on spam and when the spam is sent to non-existent addresses I get these emails because the server thinks the email came from me.

yeah, either its a spam using your email address, or (more likely) if you are using Outlook, then it is a virus.

its spam mate, just ignore/delete it. Make sure youre antivirus prog is scanning attachments too cos a lot of those type of emails have the Netskey worm attached

So I'm not actually sending it out then ?

My Antivirus proggy does a good job of blocking attachments etc.

get a firewall setup m8. zonealarm will easily do the job. tell it to request b4 giving program x internet access.

bot spiders crawling the web searching every page for email addresses, thats why whenever i display my adress i always insert NOSPAM in the middle of it or write [at] isntead of @

Some worms can take your address book and send emails to all your mates to propagate itself. You'd also get them back from them all however and probably a few phone calls asking "wtf?"

This sounds just like the ones I'm getting on my iBook (Mac so not a lot happens). Just delete the little b :censor: s.,
