Full Avensis 2.2 Tr Tourer For Spares

Hi I have for sale a 2008 avensis tr tourer for spares or repair I wish to sell the car as whole as I do not have the facilities to strip it. The car is in good condition with 4 new tyres 17" alloys in venetian silver everything works interior is in good nick sat nav climate control ect tested till December I suspect the head gasket is on its way as I am using about 1 to 2 litres of coolant a week not had it sniff tested as I can't find anyone to do it for a reasonable price. It did have a replacement engine by Toyota 3 years ago but is now out of warranty, The car is not overheating and heater is blowing normal but has slight discoloration of the header tank. The car had its taxi compliance test last week and passed with no problems and drives like new with no bangs or rattles, I was hoping to keep this car working for at least another 18 months but if the head gasket is on its way it is uneconomical for me to have repaired. the car has been well looked after serviced regularly with genuine filters and top grade oil, had new wheel bearings, new clutch, brake discs, antiroll bar bushes, gear cables and much more all within the last 18 months, The car overall has done 210,000 miles but you would never guess it is still a lovely drive. I have priced the car at a reasonable £1000 no offers. Looking around the net and spares sites the car stripped for bits could fetch around £3000 so not a bad profit margin for someone who has the facilities and time to break it or even part break it. Good luck with the sale, quick question what symptoms did you have to change gear cables?

Gear lever went very loose then one end broke off on the gearbox end just on one cable and as they come as a pair from mr t £387.00 plus fitting and vat expensive but necessary.
