T180 Coming Up To 7Th Birthday

Still with my T180 and even now only 59k on clock. Just got new MOT, no advisories and all running well. Come September it hits the 7th birthday and so endeth the 100k warranty period.

Am toying with the idea of swapping for new Rav but don't know how I feel about the 150hp or whether to go for an auto. Dithering a bit but wondering if I should swap it while it's still worth something in p/x.

Any ideas?

I take it that this car hasn't had a new engine on the extended warranty scheme. That being the case, then it's at risk and a future problem would be expensive - there are however plenty of Ravs of this era that go on to cover mega miles without issue. It's a lot better PX ing a Rav that's had a new engine and there is some nervousness (= low value) about taking in Ravs that haven't had a new engine.

You would be very happy with the new 150 BHP engine, it is a beautiful drive, and even more so if you chip it. It is one very very smooth engine

Kingo

If it had a new engine in! And you're happy with it then keep it! But I would sell if it hasn't! Unless you have a spare 5 grand hanging about for an engine if the HG packs in...
