Import Speedometer...

I have a MKII Jap import which has the standard KMH speedo.

However, the owner before me also had a digital speedo fitted on the top of the steering hood which reads out speed in MPH.

However, since I have had the car, I have never seen it work. There is no switch or button to arm it. However, I can see a wire going behind the ignition box.

Does anyone have any idea on how I can activate this thing?
