Hi to one and all, my Prius Plus is due it's first years service, Dealer said I CAN use car up till 11,000mls MAX The issue arose due to the fact I am going on holiday ,and I was concerned about invalidating my 5year Warranty. Any comments please.

Toyota service intervals are every 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Might be wrong, but I would suggest that any leeway in the servicing requirements are similar - ie, within X number of weeks of the 12 months or within a maximum of Y number of miles, whichever occurs first.

A work colleague invalidated his Ford warranty by exceeding the leeway on his servicing by too many weeks.

1 month over or 1000miles over is what I was told...in fact I'm using the former to 'stretch' my service intervals so that I eventually I will be able to match my services with the MOT test.
