2001 Cel 140 Slight Hesitation Under Load

slight hesitation under load,changed plugs,fuel tratment,still the same,its not there when cold revs cleanly through the gears,drinks oil though

Fuel filter.?..coil pack.?.....I think many pre-facelift Celi's suffer from high oil consumption....known issue.

Might a code read throw up something.?

changed the plugs,cleaned the maf,added forte treatment in the tank,stupidly all the same time,disconnected the Battery for 10 mins,been running the car all week,its smoother,more responsive and the slight hesitation has gone,i couldnt tell you which one cured it tbh? ,as for the oil,the levels were goin dwn drastically in fact the rear bumper has oil splatter all ova it,been running the forte treatment all week.the oil level has kept at just below max,and the rear bumper has almost no residue on the plastics?,in fact this old celi is performing well,fingers crossed,as ive read about these engines and the high oil consumption,car is 2001 x plated with 97k on the clock,oh i also put forte seal conditioner in the motor,just mot and taxed it,had some Castrol decals made up and fitted,grandsons names on the 1/4 window,wheels are being refurbed,the star shape 16 inch wheels[bought a spare set for 30 bucks to refurb],headlamps were yellow,so had them flatted back and mopped,good as new now,intentions are to give it to my daughter once ive sorted it and im happy wi it?,will post some pics when finished,

this old celi is wip at the moment?

was going to the scrap yard,dented n/s r 1/4 panel,wheels u/s,i bought it,taxed it,mot it,headlamps were yellow,its coming,but progress is slow,have another set of wheels to refurb,they are the 16 star ones in white?the paint is a !Removed! to get off,this is where we are to date?

just had the spare set of alloys refurbed in sparkle silver met,spare wheel has neva been on the road alloy and tyre are new,4 new tyres to be fitted 2 morrow,recently been mot,taxed for 6 months,giving it to my daughter,if she cant afford to insure/run this celi,what do you guys think its worth,2001 x plated,97k,partial history,full leather,would a grand be about right ?

tbh i thought that this forum would be simular to the opel manta owners club/total opel ireland,there doesnt seem to be the same enthusiasm on here ?,personally i found that a bit dis heartening,anyways for those that replied i thank you for your comments
