Oe Stereo Cutting Out

Hi all I seem to have developed a small but anoying fault if anyone could help please.

When the oe stereo is on and I flash the high beem light it cuts the stereo off would anyone have an idea to what's causing the problem please.

This used to be a common fault on the pre face lift Gen 7 fitted with the Sony H/U, and, IIRC, the fault lies with the ECU. Most owners have simply upgraded the H/U to one with more modern features, to cure the problem.

Ok I will look into getting a new radio then it doesn't bother me that much but it does the wife lol! How often do you flash your lights???
