Hi there cheers to everyone from Barcelona

I bought my E12 1.6 vvti Sol last year, around May 2013 third hand, it had 133.000kms and it has now around 138.000kms.

It is a 3 doors silver version; as I have been told the 1st owner of the car had a front left crash; so the car so far I could have seen has no front fog lights (in that Sol version wich was the top version at the time used to have them), and parking it in the street, some day when I came to use my car, somebody hitted the left back end, Some other random day my front place was in the floor kicked by somebody and my car misses the rear toyota and corolla logos.

A part from that, the car runs great; center console has a missed part, and the radio screen died some months ago; just the same day I passed the vehicles inspection. I'm guessing it might be a bad contact.

A part from that, I've been told the brakes would need to be replaced in 4.000kms, and I have changed the gear stick for a better shape one, and the gear lever cover, for a new one.

The car runs great; i love how the engine changes at 4.000rpm, used to have a 55hp car (an Opel/Vauxhall Corsa B 1000cc) so that one runs way much better!

My steering wheel is great and love it, just my size (1,75 meters) mades me not be very comfortable with the inside of the steering, and visibility in left corners is not that great tho, but I hope the Corolla would run many more miles with me.

Oh yes! I was missing that! I made explode one of it's rear tyres the second week I had it. So I replaced 2 tyres last year.

P.S.
Projects in the future:

- Replacing brakes & oil in 4.000kms or even before

- Solving the computer/radio screen issues

- I would like to get back the front fog lights if I can

- I would like to repair the exterior issues

- Putting back the missed logos

- I love the new Prius wheel rims, I might like to replace the Corolla ones by some nicer ones like those ones. (does anyone has tried to do this? They look so japan style!)

I'm user of the spanish forum as well,

Well, so hi to everyone from sunny Barcelona :D

P.S.2.

At the time I bought the Corolla, I had an Opel Corsa B 1.0 55hp from 1997, wich I should replace for an Audi A2 1.4 75hp from 2003, that a friend was selling. Then once I sold my car, she quitted, and I needed to find a car rapidly.

Another friend has had an E12 1.6 VVTI and I always liked it a lot; so once I had no car, I just started looking for the Corolla.

Luckily I found it quick as I am track marshalling at Barcelona and the race season was already started; I mainly use my car to go there, and just doing small trips with friends from time to time; this is why I do so few milleage per year.
