Grinding Noise At Start Up 1Nz-Fe

My Corolla 'NZE 121' started making a grinding noise at cold start up. At the beginning the noise was happening only in the first start of the day and with time it worsen and begin to happen with every start up after 2~3 hours rest. I doubted the starter solenoid in the beginning but later found that it was because of the camshaft gear, assy. So, i replaced the gear (part # 13050-21060) and the problem was gone. It seems to be a common problem with the 1NZ-FE engine. Hope it will help people with 1nz-fe engines with such noise. Thanks.

I have the same engine in my Toyota Vios 2004 engine and its making that same grinding noise. May i please know the price of this part + labour and how long it took to replace it.

I hve another problem my engine 1nz fe making small knock like *krrrrrrr* when i applying gas padal within speed of 40 to 60kph.how can i resolve this problem?
