Ok hears the score:

Curent wheel/tyre: 195/50 R15

New proposed Wheel/tyre: 215/35 R17

Inceases the rolling radius by +1.09%

So preformance should hardly change, but then there's the added weight, but i do get the cool looks of 17's and better cornering.

All i got to put up with is the price of tyre at this size

And the price of modding the arches. Considering tyres that wide will rub.

Its up to you Nizan. For looks, you cannot beat 17's. But I don't think I'd want to make my car slower - my rule is that visual mods are second to performance mods, and they mustn't hinder the cars performance. A full suspension kit would sort out the handling on 15's.

Just orderd the wheels with 195/45 Goodyear F1's, im sure ther going to be great tyres too, had lots of good feedback from people bout them, if i dont get on with them il try the Proxy's next time

Good choice there mate. Playing it safe with the wheel arches I think that it's best to go for 16" instead mate. I think if i was in the position to buy new alloys i would go for 16" as well.

My Parants have 16's on their fiesta with the same profile tyre, they look a nice size.

Im not going to fit them untill I get my coilovers which could be a good few weeks unless the !Removed! pull their finger out.

But itl be worth the wait and ready for JAE'04
