2012 Aygo Ice Head Unit Replacement - Not Iso Connection?

Recommended Posts

Hi - sorry to jump on this thread. I have the same Pioneer radio with quad lock connector. Trying to find a simple solution. Does the PC2-86-4 work?

Many thanks

Not really, the PC2-86-4  is the same as most PSA leads on the market including the CT20CT02

3 options

1. Connect the ACC 12v (usually red ) from the radio to the grey pin 17 on the white block

2. Connect the ACC 12v (usually red ) from the radio to another ACC 12v eg. 12v aux socket (cig lighter)

3. The only way to do it without touching the car's wiring is with a SOT lead, cut and join 2 wires and get rid of the unneeded parts

The Vauxhall quad lock leads come with all 4 blocks populated

Hi there - Same problem as Dave NT. I have bought a Quadlock converter, but it doesn't convert the 12-pin white (part B?) connector. Has anyone found that adaptor?

Thanks B

I've got the same issue! any solutions??

I'm sorry, english isn't my first language so I don't understand

do you mean i have to cut the red wire and then connect it to the grey wire somehow?

I think you can see on the second pic that my adapter doesn't connect the bloc b to anything!

You have a red and orange together,

orange = ill (illumination)

red = ACC

Connect ACC - red to the Grey wire on the white block of the quad lock connector

ok I get that!

My question is, how do you "connect" them exactly? I'm completely new to this!

If any of you guys have been able to do it, I'd love to hear from you!

there are many ways to tap a wire it's not difficult, i prefer to use solder or open barrel crimps I couldn't tell you how many I have done in the last 25+ years

oh thanks!

That should be helpful

here's what the manufacturer told me

Seems like they're talking about two cables instead of one, but I think I get the idea!

Tear up the grey cable from the quadlock part and connect it to the red cable (ACC) from the adapter!

If i follow what I see in the video you sent, the grey cable has to be wrapped around the red cable, or the other way around? Or maybe that doesn't matter!

splice the red into the grey, you may need to remove some tape and slide the tube back a little
