Avensis Driveshaft - Petrol/diesel

Bought a 1999 avensis diesel, and need get driveshaft for it. Crazy money from Toyota and finding it hard to find a diesel one in that shape to get second hand one.

are they the same for diesel and petrol models or they different driveshafts??

Couldn't tell you for certain but my general experience of cars says they'll be different.

The drive shafts are not the same with similar year petrols, but the later 2 litre vvti seems to share the same drive shafts.
