Toyota - Meaning Of Names

Up until recently all Toyotas had Italian names with the exception of the MR2. Not sure about the Yaris.

Better than Ford tho, they had a meeting and the chairman said ' This is a focus group to decide upon the names for two new cars. Focus and Ka, right, last one down the pub pays'

Sorry Stef, beg to differ. Celica, Curren and Supra are not Italian as far as i'm aware, Paseo is Spanish (I think), Starlet is English. I know that Celica and Curren are Jap and are kinds of winds (i.e. cyclone, hurricane, whatever). Land cruiser, Hi Lux hmmm. Which ones ARE Italian ;) :)
