A Warm Hello - Looking Forward To Rav Ownership...again!

Good evening all - warm hello from me.

I have just acquired a 2002 Rav4 5dr VX 2ltr petrol with Leather interior and some toys.

I managed to bag myself a silver Rav with 12 months ticket, no advisories, 6 mths tax and a Full Service history and I mean full.

1 owner car with service book stamped every 5-6000 miles.

Car is tight as a drum so I am delighted.

I owned a 1999 Rav 3dr Reebok before and fell in love with them but some reject jumped a red light and totalled it.

The wee truck still drove even after being side swiped with bent steering and everything.

Long time Japanese car fan having imported several MX5's and have owned a couple of Lexus LS400's and a Nissan Maxima QX 3.0ltr V6 and have been an active member in lots of different forums in the past.

Got a new arrival on the way so wanted to get something safe, reliable and roomy which still drove pretty much like a car for the good lady and I am very pleased to be back in a Rav!

Anyway as I said warm hello - I have some basic plans for the car but don't want to overdo it as the wee truck stands pretty perfect as she is.

First purchases have been Bonnet guard and wind deflectors all round.

I will be looking for black rear light protectors, a black spare wheel cover and soon an expedition rack for the picnics and camping trips with the dog - (the rack is not for the dog lol)

Look forward to the knowledge, banter and good humour which seems to exist on this forum.
