Hadta get bus back to college, and as i was walkin in the dude rang up and told me the bad news, the amp was faulty, LOL ANOTHER ONE! He sed the low pass filter had gone and it was jus faulty coz it kept switchin off and on. Since it had no low pass filter, it cudnt provide the sub with the power to get the bass!!

Although, i am getting a refund on the amplifier, and the dude left it all wired up, so i jus need to get a new amp and then im off

Although my dads not too happy, sed the sub lux ridiculous and is massive!!! Its a 10" with a custom box, made as small as possible!! So it doesnt take half the boot up but still looks nice.

Uc, he bought the car, but its sorta mine even tho hes the "main driver". Im in it 99% of the time and i have paid for everything thats in it, so duno why he has the problem since hes never in it!!!!! Hes been in a bad mood all day :!Removed!: Il get sum pix neway tmoro!!! When i passed test and i was gona buy a crappy banger, my rents sed no no no, we'l get u a new car in a few year time! Few months later when i started modding, i sed il buy this car off you in like 3 year time wen u want a new car dad, so saves u buying one for me, and he agreed!!

:ffs: Yeh! But mam sed hes been in a bad mood all day! Thing is tho, iv took all his crap out of the boot which he never uses, and all thats in there is the small sub, looks nice!

So then he went on more, and i said, whys there a subwoofer in this room (for tv obviously) whys there a massive one downsstairs behind the setee, its jus the same. Then he said to my mam, uknow all those cars that come bombing down the road with lots of bass, "thats what he wants to be like". And i said, no not really, if i wanted too id get 2 subs, and much more powerful ones! Gettin on my !Removed!! :ffs:

Pics of my install can be found here-

http://www.johnspanton.co.uk/yaris.html

My amps are both mounted inside the sub box, which seems to work OK. I've had amps on the underside of the parcel shelf an on the outside of the box before.

Back of the seats might be OK, although make sure the screws aren't too long otherwise it might be a bit uncomfortable for your rear passengers! If I remember rightly, the seat backing is metal so u could drill very small holes in it, then attach with small screws.
