Auxilliary Power Ouitlets

Just to say that without an owners manual I had no idea there was a second fuse box inside the car. Found it and replaced the fuse for the auxiliary power sockets, and the one adjacent to the handbrake worked straight away but the one in the boot was still dead. Managed to prise it out of the fascia to find that the plug was not connected to the socket, I remember reading somewhere that an owner had deduced from the type of connector that it couldn't possibly have pulled off the pins and must therefore never have been connected in the first place -and I totally agree with him. So if your rear socket is dead despite the fuse being ok then that could be the reason.
